TurboDAQ6.2

The main new features in this release are the SURF panel and related functions, and the functionality needed for TDAC and GDAC incremental scans. A SURF panel manual and example primitive lists can be downloaded from the TurboDAQ main page. Special thanks to Bob Ely, who implemented the underlying SURF functionality that this release is based on.

Changes since version 6.1:

·        SURF panel to control up to four SURF boards via USB port. You no longer need to run Ambush or Pontifex, but you do need to download and install the SURF board USB driver, as explained here

·        Multimodule scan functionality (“SURF mode”)

·        Primitives to control the SURF boards

·        TDAC and GDAC increment scans for system testing

·        Periodic TPCC resets (in advanced panel):  If this is turned OFF, then ALL TPCC resets are blocked, even if the user manually hits the reset button! This is to make sure that all resets can be blocked, which is sometimes desired when dealing with multiple modules

·         FE-register test primitive: now only tests chips that have been selected for scan in static configuration
