TurboDAQ6.3

New features / improvements

o       New option in Set Parameter primitive: Turn on/off conf/scan/dacs for individual or all FE chips

o       Move Source primitive: source trolley control for CPPM (or other labs)

o       Source Command primitive: source shutter control for LBL (or other labs)

o       Run Executable primitive. Can be used to launch external executables from primitive lists. TurboDAQ can either wait for the executable to finish (choose ‘same thread’ option) or continue the primlist while the executable runs (‘new thread’ option). Command line parameters can be passed to the executable. Example uses: Chiller control and source trolley control.

o       Set Plot Mode primitive: new option to close online plots. Choosing any other option will automatically reopen the online plots panel.

o       More obvious error message in text output when failure occurs during MCC test

o        If user tried to executing a primlist, and hasn’t loaded FE calibration data (either via module configuration or in fitting console), then a warning is issued

o       Phase lock switch in initialization panel: If set to ON, TurboDAQ will ignore phase settings when reading configuration files. Example use: At LBL we use a fixed phase setting for all Layer 1 and Layer 3 module. With the phase lock on in the burn-in station, we don’t need to edit our module configs when moving these modules from the ASSY test station(where we use a different phase setting) to the burn-in station. This feature actually appearing in a previous TurboDAQ version, but I forgot to announce it.

Bug fixes

o       primlist problem in Send Email primitive

o       memory leak in online plots panel

o       maximum phase settings not loaded properly from module configuration file when using new PLL
